Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast encourages Littles to graduate high school and pursue a post-secondary certification and/or education. In celebration of 50 years of mentoring children, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast Board of Directors began a scholarship program to honor their CEO Joy Mahler’s long term tenure. The Joy Mahler Scholarship Fund will provide financial scholarships for graduating Littles in the program pursuing certification and/or post-secondary education.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Jeanne Beth Mahler Minnear Memorial Scholarship Fund. Your contribution will honor the memory of Jeanne Beth and support aspiring Littles in their pursuit of an education in the healthcare field.
